Bikeability

This year all of Kestrel class have had the opportunity to take part in Bikeability training.  Kestrels have been able to complete stages 1 and 2 of the training, cycling on the school playground in between cones (or hedgehogs) and through funnels, and learning how to signal as well as being out on the road. Everyone has had a great time learning to ride their bikes safely.

A great start to our topic

Kestrel class have had a great start to our topic of WW2.  We have made Spitfires and Lancaster Bombers from paper and have written descriptions about the Blitz and being in the underground in London as well as acrostic poems about the Blitz. These all look wonderful on display!
